About the role
As a Data Analyst on PHM's Reporting & Analytics team, you will support key corporate functions including sales, account management, and operations by leveraging our data-driven approach to capture and report the value of our care management programs, focusing on utilization, clinical outcomes, and financial results for corporate clients.
Working cross-functionally, you will help empower key teams with the data-driven insights they need to make informed decisions, improve program outcomes, and communicate our value proposition to prospective and current clients. What You'll Accomplish
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and analyses to support PHM's sales, account management, and operations teams.
- Provide in-depth opportunity analyses for corporate prospects and partners by assessing disease burden in employer groups, analyzing medical claims data, projecting utilization, and performing ROI analyses.
- Generate insightful reports for business reviews, detailing engagement, clinical outcomes, and financial performance for corporate clients.
- Collaborate with the operations team to design and build dashboards that track key performance metrics, ensuring accurate and timely measurement of our programs.
How You'll Spend Your Days
- Performing detailed data analyses using medical claims data, high-cost claimant reports, and other relevant data sources to evaluate the needs for prospective and current clients, generate ROI analyzes, and identify new engagement opportunities.
- Supporting the account management team by delivering robust, data-driven reports on corporate program utilization and outcomes.
- Building and maintaining dynamic dashboards to streamline access to real-time data across key business functions.
- Managing data requests and data feeds with relevant stakeholders to support the Reporting & Analytics function
What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on data science, financial analysis, epidemiology, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong preference for experience in healthcare or employee benefits.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Power BI) to build insightful, dynamic dashboards.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures, with the ability to interpret and analyze data accurately
- Proven ability to work effectively across multiple teams, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of translating complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry, including an understanding of medical claims and utilization data.

Compensation: The target base salary for this position is $75,000-$100,000.
This base salary is only a part of a total compensation package that also includes: health/dental/vision benefits, 401k with match, PTO and other benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range as a number of factors including market forces, experience, location, disparities in market data and other relevant business considerations may all factor into final compensation.
This is a remote role requiring that you live in one of the states where we currently have business operations: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, MA, MI, MO, NJ, NC, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA.
