What it’s Like to Work Here:
As a Sales Data Analyst, you’ll be the focal point for reporting and analyzing POS and shipment data. Your responsibilities will include creating, distributing, and presenting reports that guide decision-making across Retail and Contract Sales. You’ll work with external datasets like IRI/Circana and retailer-specific databases to deliver timely and accurate insights.
About You:
You’re a skilled data analyst with a strong ability to turn large datasets into meaningful insights. You thrive in cross-functional environments and have the communication skills to present complex data to various stakeholders. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and excel in a fast-paced setting.
Essential Job Functions:
- Data Reporting & Analysis: Create, distribute, and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management, including the C-suite and Board of Directors. Lead discussions on data analysis and business performance.
- Category Research: Manage category research, including IRI/Circana analysis, industry trends, and disseminating relevant articles and data across the organization.
- New Business Evaluation: Support evaluating potential new business opportunities by providing cost estimates and volume assessments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Operations, and other departments to ensure data alignment and support company goals.
- Project Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time with attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Neilsen/IRI or similar syndicated data platforms.
- 3+ years of experience in sales forecasting and data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive business results.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally OTC/Nutritional, is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, statistics, or a related field is required.
