Job Title: Data Mapping Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL 60606 (Hybrid Role)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract Role + Extension

Pay Range: $70/hr to $80/hr

PURPOSE:

We are seeking an individual to support client's steady state asset inventory and data mapping (AIDM) initiative on the Privacy team within the Legal department.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • With the various global requirements for companies to have robust and detailed data flow diagrams and privacy impact assessments, this individual will play a central role in client's compliance efforts and with client's privacy team.
  • The individual must be a self-motivated professional who is well organized and capable of working cross-functionally on complex matters across different time zones.
  • On a day-to-day basis, the individual will interact with business and IT leaders to reassess, update, and/or modify existing data maps and privacy impact assessments.
  • The individual will also be responsible for evaluating the assessments to ensure responses are consistent and meet client's and regulators' standards. A background in privacy is preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to self-prioritize, work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience with OneTrust.
  • CIPP/US or CIPM/US or similar.
EDUCATION:
  • B.A./B.S. degree preferred.
