Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Extract primary data from Oracle Database with the use of SQL.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Provide timely and accurate data to fulfill internal and external data requests.
  • Identify, compile, and 'clean' data for research projects.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Oversee evaluation and research projects.
  • Communicate the evaluation plan and its details to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external research partners to ensure understanding of data points and data sets.
  • Develop and monitor internal and external data requests.
  • Manage, summarize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Summarize and explain research findings and their implications.
  • Prepare findings for publication.
  • Develop, review, and abstract published research.
  • Produce data visualization dashboards with Tableau.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years in a related lead or supervisory role OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of related experience, Two years of which in a related lead or supervisory role OR Two years of experience at the lower level IT Business Analyst or position equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL, Oracle, etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
  • Significant experience in accessing and extracting data from organizational and other institutional databases.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in the Criminal Justice field and Data Management/Analysis.
  • Proficient skills in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Experience in data visualization software (i.e., Tableau).
