JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Master Data Analyst is to ensure the integrity of master data within Oracle and other applicable systems across Driven Brands. This individual will also ensure that they adhere to the global processes defined for creation, changes to, maintaining, and retiring master data, including data ownership, data management processes, data standards, and optimization for efficiency and accuracy. The individual will work with Driven key stakeholders as a key representative for the Master Data team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure Master Data follows approved data governance for all Driven Brands applicable systems.


  • Follow and ensure data policies and business processes for master data creation and maintenance are strictly adhered to, ensuring that the working practices align with the global operating model and standard operating procedures.


  • Drive continuous improvement to improve master data maintenance policies and business processes and collaborate with the master data team to identify and act on opportunities for consistent process improvement.


  • Enable workflows to enforce approval and validation of new and changed master data.


  • Focus on essential MDM processes, governance, controls, data migration & integration, data maintenance, data quality assurance & control, and archiving.


  • Determine root cause and corrective action of discrepancies in master data


  • Provide up-to-date documentation, descriptions, and flow diagrams, ensuring any changes to the business rules on master data are documented and communicated effectively to key internal stakeholders.


  • Drive standardization of Master Data Management governance and MDM processes


  • Ensure security and compliance for data attributes are defined and adhere to privacy laws, industry regulations, and corporate compliance mandates.


  • Propose process changes where applicable.


  • Manage data systems to ensure transparency, fidelity, accuracy, and accessibility.


  • Manage and maintain field mappings, ensuring vendor and customer data are filled out correctly.


  • Liaise with all global partners as required to define and deploy mapping and integrations between platforms.


  • Work cross-functionally with the Project Management team to track where a product is in the timeline and ensure data accuracy.


  • Create and maintain user guides

    Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience in Master Data Management


  • Proven track record in aligning to business needs and change management with stakeholders.


  • Ability to plan and manage master data-related projects.


  • Strong communication, motivation, and team management skills.


  • Proven track record in successful team or project leadership.


  • Energetic, detailed oriented, able to adhere to deadlines promptly.


  • Strong organizational skills.


  • Confidence in dealing with and building relationships both internally and externally.


  • Commitment to providing the highest level of support and quality.


  • Associates degree in Business related field, or equivalent work experience


  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail


  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills, both oral and written


  • 3+ years of experience with database systems and management, including data collection, data visualization, report generation, data cleaning, mapping, and manipulation.


  • Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in which requirements & priorities constantly change.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication


  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with close attention to detail


  • A self-starter with an ability to complete tasks both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
