Job Title: Data Analyst II
Pay range: $50 – $65/hr. on W2
Location: San Francisco (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible extension)

About the Job:
Engineering Security (EngSec) at client is tasked with the cyber-defense of client’s businesses and assets, and is on a major growth path to deliver the best capabilities for our businesses while advancing the cybersecurity field.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Tableau dashboards, delivering actionable insights to both operational teams and executive-level stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for optimizing data sources, integrating complex queries, and ensuring that dashboards are tailored to meet varying audience needs. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-growing team and make a significant impact by driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and deploy Tableau dashboards to support team-level operations and executive decision-making
- Utilize advanced Tableau features such as table calculations, level of detail (LOD) expressions, parameters, filters, and custom visualizations to create dynamic and interactive dashboards
- Generate SQL queries and optimize data sources for performance and scalability
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on dashboard designs to meet business needs
- Ensure best practices for data visualization and dashboard usability are maintained
- Troubleshoot and improve the performance of existing Tableau dashboards
What you’ll need:
- BS/BA in a related field (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in developing Tableau dashboards for both team-level and executive-level audiences
- Expertise in SQL for querying, optimizing, and managing complex datasets
- Deep understanding of Tableau features such as table calculations, LOD expressions, parameters, and data blending
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into effective visualizations and data stories
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with a focus on delivering impactful results
