Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights. Utilize statistical methods and data visualization techniques to interpret data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Data Management: Clean, preprocess, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability. Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
  • Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques and predictive modeling to support research projects, product development, and decision-making processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments and analyze experimental data.
  • Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling visualizations, charts, and dashboards to present analytical results to stakeholders. Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with researchers, scientists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, identify analytical opportunities, and provide data-driven insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analysis, statistical methods, and biotechnology. Continuously improve analytical techniques and explore new tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data analysis processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods. Familiarity with machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Familiarity with biotech or life sciences industry is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
