Mattina, Kent & Gibbons, P.C. is hiring: Tax Preparer (Seasonal) in Rochester

Our Rochester office is looking for an experienced seasonal tax preparer for the upcoming tax season with at least 2 years experience in individual tax preparation, thorough knowledge of the tax process and ability to meet deadlines. The position is from January April 15 with training starting December.

Professional Skills and Qualifications :

• Minimum of 40 hours per week, with the ability to work up to 50 hours
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, no Bachelor degree required but tax preparation experience is a must
• Strong client relationship skills
• Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills
• Ability to interact positively in a professional manner with coworkers and clients
• Above average knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of electronic work papers is preferred but not required
• Experience with Creative Solutions and Ultra Tax software preferred but not required
