This is a summer seasonal position from April through September.

Job Description

Manages, coordinates, and administers the various day-to-day responsibilities and support activities of the Housing and Transportation department, which includes employee shuttle support and scheduling, assigning various tasks to the housing cleaner staff, fielding complaints and concerns from our employees, maintaining a clean and livable employee housing facility.

Activities & Responsibilities - Housing

  • Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Northern Hospitality Group
  • Ensure housing is open and ready for arrivals at the beginning of the season
  • Assign Housing accommodations to incoming employees
  • Transactions for laundry and linens
  • Scheduling housing cleaners
  • Schedule housing check-ins and check-outs
  • Room Inspections
  • Ordering snack supplies for camp
  • Maintenance Requests and follow-ups
  • Fielding complaints and concerns
  • Coordinating employee housing events (1 per month)
  • Make temporary accommodations for incoming Anchorage staff and personnel
  • Ensure housing is clean, closed, and prepared for winter at the end of the season

Activities & Responsibilities - Transportation

  • Keeping up with all Vehicle insurance and registrations
  • Scheduling shuttle drivers
  • Driving support shuttle in the morning for staff heading to work
  • Coordinating trips to Fairbanks
  • Creating event shuttle schedules
  • Train and Bus Depot Pick-ups and Drop-offs
  • Providing a public shuttle for our Annual Events

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Experience working in a seasonal position in the hospitality industry
  • O365 proficiency (excel, word, etc.)
  • Experience managing a staff of 10+ employees
  • Experience in an employee housing/camp setting
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
