We are looking for an energic Seasonal Barista to work at the Coffee House. This position is located at our coffee shop located in the first block of Rehoboth Avenue. The Coffee House Baristas’ responsibilities include preparing basic food and beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and chatting with customers. The ideal candidates will know the Schell Brothers brand and will be able to convey it to anyone who walks in the door.

To be successful you should show up on time and have a fun upbeat attitude in the Coffee House. Strong verbal communication skills and a team-player attitude are a must. The Coffee House is going to have allllll the good vibes!

Responsibilities

· Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders

· Taking payment from customers

· Prepare and serve beverages (coffee, smoothies, tea, and specialty drinks) and food items (sandwiches, bagels, wraps)

· Answering questions about menu choices while promoting and recommending menu options

· Maintaining espresso machines, blenders and other equipment

· Keeping the work environment and cafe seating area clean, sanitary and organized

Requirements:

· Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills for positive interactions and conflict resolution.

· Strong teamwork abilities to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

· Attention to detail to manage customer requests and high-volume beverage preparation with minimal errors.

· Effective time management and organizational skills for efficiency in a busy workplace.

· Prior experience as a barista, food server, or in a similar role.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to be on your feet for 6 hours at a time and lift 25 pounds at times.
