About Pelican Bay Foundation
Pelican Bay Foundation is the premier luxury community in Naples, FL. One of the area’s largest exclusive enclaves, situated on more than three square miles and bordered by pristine white-sand beaches, our community offers the most diverse slate of amenities and activities anywhere in the region.
The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two tennis facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.
About the Position
We are seeking a position to be responsible for assisting Foundation members and guests with the use of The Foundation beaches and beach equipment. The position is also responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly beach. These responsibilities are carried out consistent with the Foundation’s mission, standard of service and goals and departmental policies and procedures. This position reports to the Beach Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the use of the beaches and beach activities.
- Greet and assist members and their guests to determine desired beach equipment including set ups and take downs of beach equipment.
- Clean beach equipment to assure it is free of sand before it is distributed.
- Collect all equipment from the beach at the end of the day, removes excess sand, and stores in designated areas for the night.
- Clean beaches to assure they are free of trash, debris and rocks.
Skills & Experience
- Successful experience in a position that has involved relating to members or the public in a service capacity.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods of time.
Education
- Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
