Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations in our wholesale distribution facility. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, on-time order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. The Warehouse Manager leads and supports the warehouse team to meet company objectives, including operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Implement and enforce operational procedures to optimize workflow and maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery and shipment of goods.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy using established systems and tools, including barcode scanning and inventory software integration.
- Engage in customer and vendor interactions and maintain sound relationships.
- Assist with walk-in customers and will-calls and provide good customer service.
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, address challenges, and share updates.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure the warehouse complies with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace incidents and injuries.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure proper handling of materials and equipment.
Process Improvement
- Evaluate and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse management of a similar role, preferably in wholesale distribution.
- 10+ years of experience in warehouse setting preferred.
- CDL license preferred, but not essential.
- Forklift experience and certification required.

- Proficient in inventory management and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
Certifications
- Forklift certification required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in the warehouse, both indoors and outdoors, which may include working in tight spaces, high heat, poor light, and other warehouse hazards. The employee will be required to safely and correctly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate work gear. The employee may work alone or as part of a team.
