Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain stock in warehouse, pull product from freezer, cooler and dry areas, and double check orders for accuracy
  • Operating all warehouse material handling equipment safely and effectively including but not limited to a walkie power jack, stand up reach truck, pallet jack, and hand truck
  • Building stable and accurate pallets for shipment. Selecting customer orders from slots, using pick labels and matching those to the product, while constructing pallets in accordance to customer stop and truck schematics
  • Conducting truck inspection before loading to ensure truck is clean, the proper temperature ranges are realized, and it is ready for loading
  • Ability to consistently meet established performance and accuracy standards for:
    • Pick rate 115 pieces per hour
    • Mis-picks 2 per 2,500 pieces picked
    • Pallet integrity while in transit (zero damage)
  • Cleanliness and organization of warehouse and maintenance needs daily
  • Receiving inbound purchase orders accurately and timely until completion of inbound carrier appointments have been completed for day inclusive of all backhauls
  • Put away inbound purchase orders to correct reserve location or pick slot; with understanding that all daily receipts are systemically and physically received in and put away before your departure
  • Replenishing pick slots from reserve locations prior to and during outbound selection hours; all replenishment drops need to be completed prior to your departure.
  • Performing various warehouse tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have high school diploma; certification on electric pallet jack and stand up reach truck (Hi/Lo); valid driver's license

Preferred Applicable and verifiable experience in warehouse distribution; preferably in the food industry, minimum 2 years warehouse experience or 1 year as an order selector in a food distribution warehouse
