Job Description

This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity with a rapidly growing distributor of high-quality stainless-steel fittings, valves, and tubing.

Warehouse Associate Job Duties:

Handling daily shipment operations by accurately picking and packing customer orders.
Maintaining organization in the warehouse.
Receiving and verifying domestic and import shipments.
Operating a forklift and handling 20-ft stainless steel tubing.
Assisting with quality control and inspection procedures.
Performing general warehouse duties and stocking.
Completing necessary paperwork for shipping/receiving, including order documentation, weight, and freight costs.

Schedule: 8 Hour Shift, Monday – Friday

Pay: $17/hr.

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

1-3 years of experience working in a distribution warehouse.
Preferred experience with pipe, valves, and fittings, especially stainless steel sanitary valves and fittings used in the food and beverage processing industry.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to handle and package large stainless steel tubing.
Knowledge of general warehouse practices, including order pulling, packing, and inventory management. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and inventory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow quality control standards
