Warehouse Assistant Job at HB Workplaces, LLC in Saint George

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, preparing orders to be shipped and assisting the warehouse team with various other tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Receiving and Shipping Material

• Readily available to unload inbound freight during any hour of operation
• Assists in manual loading/unloading of trucks
• Ensures all shipping/receiving documents reach the correct location
• Verifies incoming/outbound product against paperwork to ensure accuracy
• Sort and place products on rack or bins according to predetermined sequence

Order Preparation

• Readily available to prepare same-day orders during any hour of operation
• Gathers stock product for upcoming orders and assists in staging product for deliveries
• Verifies all orders against provided paperwork to ensure accuracy
• Mark all materials with identifying information using appropriate method

Warehouse Organization:

• Maintains warehouse in a clean, neat and highly organized manner, including all stored product, supplies, equipment, parts, vehicles, etc.
• Ensures warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
• Moves product as necessary or for organizational purposes
• Assists in counting of physical inventory
