Job Overview
The Warehouse Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, aligning with the company's policies and strategic vision. This position involves overseeing receiving and warehousing operations while optimizing space utilization. Reporting to the department manager, the Warehouse Lead holds an exempt position within the organization.

Primary Duties
  • Manage stocking, rotation, restocking, and relocation of inventory.
  • Coordinate receiving, shipping, and transferring of parts, components, materials, and supplies.
  • Establish and maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records in the computer system.
  • Supervise and mentor Warehouse Associates to ensure productivity and compliance with procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
  • Adhere to rigorous safety protocols and promptly report any incidents.
  • Safely handle lifting of various objects, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Proficiently operate a variety of tools and equipment essential to warehouse operations.
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety regulations, promoting a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain constant alertness and prioritize safety in all tasks.
  • Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
  • Foster regular communication and collaboration with peers through on-site meetings.
  • Uphold company standards for quality, safety, and environmental compliance, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
Qualifications / Experience / Education
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in warehousing.
  • Able to pass a 7-year criminal background check.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Versatile and willing to adapt to a situation.
  • Communicate well through emails, over the phone, or face-to-face.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail including follow up and follow through.
  • Pass a pre-employment 7-year background check.
