We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Agent to join our team in our Louisville branch. As a Warehouse Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility, handling inbound and outbound freight, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Accurately receive, load, store, and execute shipment orders
- Count products, verify weights, and compare to manifests to ensure accuracy
- Identify and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages on appropriate forms
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products safely
- Maximize storage space utilization and properly store items in assigned locations
- Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring correct quantities and proper labeling
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical inventories and cycle counts
- Perform repackaging and repair of goods as required
- Operate warehouse equipment such as shrink-wrap machines and banding tools
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies
- Complete necessary documentation for TSA and CCSF requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 6 months experience in a similar warehouse position (preferred)
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations
- Physical capability to stand, walk, lift (50lbs), twist, and reach for extended periods
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the facility
- Willingness to obtain DG (Dangerous Goods) certification
- Ability to obtain a Forklift certification within 6 months of employment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
