JOB TITLE: Warehouse Manager
REPORTS TO: Materials Manager
DEPARTMENT: Operations, Materials
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $78,000
Who we are: Pelsue is the industry leader in manufacturing worker safety products and vehicles for the telephone, utility, and construction industries. We have a large assembly shop in our Aurora facility where we build industrial safety products to protect field workers on their job sites.
Who you are: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse & material handling functions for the company. Specific responsibilities include; inventory management, picking, receiving, cycle counting and other product handling functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily inventory operations
- Manage picking work orders and delivering parts to the production line
- Create daily work plan and update planning schedule
- Maintain equipment and vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate safety records
- Oversee inventory cycle counts
- Ensure cleanliness of warehouse, dock and grounds
- Oversee building security
- Manage and train staff of 5+ employees
- Communicate daily with various departments

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has supervisory responsibilities for individuals assigned to work in the warehouse and materials handling functions assigned to them.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a manufacturing warehouse including; materials storage, production & dock areas. The work is primarily performed indoors, but occasionally may involve working outdoors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. Ability to lift 75 lbs.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. There are a few different schedule options for this position and will be set upon hire. Coverage is needed Monday - Thursday 6 am - 5 pm, Friday 6 am - Noon, with an occasional Saturday, if there is an urgent need. This schedule is subject to change depending on Production's needs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Extensive warehousing & materials management experience in a manufacturing environment required. Bachelor's degree preferred. A valid driver's license and a clean MVR is required.
