Reports to: Materials Manager
Location: Nor-Cal Products, Inc. dba Pfeiffer Vacuum Valves & Engineering (Pfeiffer Vacuum V&E)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring that incoming materials are received, safely stored, and issued to end-users. Assures that Sales Orders and Stock Transfers are filled and shipped according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Duties
Receiving and Stocking:
- Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Organize and stock materials in designated areas.
- Ensure all products are stored safely and in the proper locations.
Order Fulfillment:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Use warehouse management systems to track and process orders.
- Ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and reporting inaccuracies.
Warehouse Maintenance:
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other warehouse associates and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Secondary duties with added requirements may be assigned from time to time.

70% inside, open warehouse environment, and 30% outside-yard environment; where temperatures during the year range from very cold (20s) in the winter, to very hot (110+) in the summer Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance. Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection where required, and face shield while building crates and while using packaging foam equipment.
Tasks require walking, sitting, bending, reaching, mobility, frequent lifting and pushing/pulling. Work requires computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and data-entry), attention to detail and accuracy. Communication skills including listening and speaking are required for interaction with other employees, vendors, and customers. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks and any stress associated with the duties and responsibilities of this position are essential requirements in the performance of this job.

General Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects consistently (up to 50 lbs.)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook).
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, secondary education a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience or equivalent experience.
Language Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mathematical Skills
Basic mathematics skills.
Reasoning Ability
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with quickly changing work priorities, and with minimal interaction to complete assignments on time.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver license.
