Job Description

Kable Staffing is in urgent need of a Warehouse Associate in Louisville, KY. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts or other equipment.
Inventory Management: Track, organize, and maintain inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.
Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements, ensuring timely shipment.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals and deadlines.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper lifting techniques and equipment use.

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in warehouse operations.
Forklift Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic math and computer skills are a plus.
Flexible to work shifts, including evenings or weekends, if required.
Fast-paced warehouse setting with occasional exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.
Standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods.
