BrightFarms' fresh lettuce options, from classic greens to crunchy mixes and salad kits, are available in more than 3,700 retail stores across the East Coast and Midwest.
The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure uninterrupted daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and aid farm operations to meet production plans while also increasing the company’s overall market share goals. This role reports to the Production Manager.

The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure uninterrupted daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and aid farm operations to meet production plans while also increasing the company’s overall market share goals. This role reports to the Production Manager.
Specifically, you will:
- Demonstrate and operational excellence in shipping, receiving, and storing of materials
- Achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction through proper auditing of materials received, shipped, and stored.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehouse activities, space utilization and inventory levels
- Perform inventory cycle counts, verifications and reconciliations as required
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments and inventory transactions are accurate and recorded in a timely manner
- Interface with internal and external customers to answer questions or solve problems
- Maintain item records, documents, and utilize reports to project warehouse status in the system
- Assist in the creation of SOPs for all processes to ensure business continuity and resilience
- Identify areas of improvement and establish new or adjust existing work procedures and practices
- Review and coordinate activities with other departments and leadership
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Business administration, or Related Field
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse or Inventory Supervisor
- 2-3 years of experience in interpreting shipping, receiving, purchase order and other related documentation
- Forklift certification and experience operating powered equipment to load, unload and move materials as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external teams
- Computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Working conditions / Environment / Travel / Schedule required:
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Work Environment may include extreme shifts in temperature due to the warehouse environment
- Must be able to spend long periods of time standing and walking
