Packsize International is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join our team, as we develop innovative solutions to revolutionize a trillion-dollar industry. The position is full-time and based in Louisville, KY.
About the Role
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for fulfilling and shipping parts orders from customers and field service engineers. He/she will also assist with machine demonstrations to potential clients. He/she understands the needs of the customer and works proactively and efficiently to meet those needs.
What You’ll Do
- Receive parts and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Ship parts and maintain 99.5% shipment accuracy and on time delivery.
- Perform monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Utilize SAP to create POs and order/ship parts.
- Work with suppliers to ensure best prices and establish refurbishment processes to reduce cost.
- Set up of parts such as printers and scanners prior to shipment to ensure quick installation in the field.
- Enhance the customer’s positive experience with Packsize by recognizing their needs and providing solutions that meet and often surpass those needs.
- Communicate effectively both internally and externally and utilize CRM system to record and parts shipments.
- Operate Packsize equipment to meet shipping needs and participate in client demonstrations.
- Safely operate a forklift to move spare parts and Packsize machinery.
- Keep warehouse space and Packsize inventory organized and clean at all times.
- Assist Machine Pre-Configuration Technicians with preparation of machines and equipment going to customers.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience working in a fast paced warehouse environment.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventorying goods.
- Experience with Gmail and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills, accessible via telephone, and promptly returns email and phone messages.
- Experience in lean manufacturing and batch production preferred.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Mechanical experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle for the occasional delivery of emergency spare parts.
Working Environment and Physical Demands
The following are representative of the typical working environment and physical demands
of this position. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, you will be required to:
- Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record as parts may need to be taken to the airport to be shipped.
- Travel is a possibility but is very limited.
What We Offer
The hourly range for this role is $20-25 however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
