Inovar Packaging is hiring: WAREHOUSE in Kansas City

Position: Warehouse / Material Handler

Reports to: Production Mgr.- Operations Mgr.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive raw materials, rectify any receipt to purchase order discrepancies.

• Prepare skids for LTL Shipments, verify item specifications and carton counts prior to prepping for

shipment. Resolve any discrepancies prior to shipment processing.,

• Utilize aged inventory whenever possible.

• Operate slitter whenever necessary

• Must Read Work Orders and have a solid understanding of Tabco’s material codes.

• Follow procedures when pulling and returning material to and from inventor.

• Pull correct material and deliver to press, eliminated downtime due to operators waiting on

materials.

• Keep 1st and 2nd shift presses stocked with material at all times.

• Monthly inventories completed in and accurate and timely manner.

• Maintain the warehouse in a safe and organized manner, verify skid placement on racks- centered

and not overhanging. Floors are to be free of obstruction at all times.

• Standing and walking 90% of the time.

Key Requirements:

• Basic Math Skills and the ability to read a ruler

• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be detailed oriented

• Willing to wear PPE when required

• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.

• Good communication skills

• Work well with others, become a team player

• Other duties as assigned
