ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and follow all safety procedures
- Current on all safety trainings
- Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)
- Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks
- Conduct regular cycle count procedures to ensure inventory accuracy
- Perform and approve daily inventory transactions
- Audit inbound and outbound shipments
- Ability to interpret and explain inventory variances
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and vendors
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Five (5) years’ experience in a computer-aided warehousing operation, or any equivalent combination of education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong Math Skills
- Strong organization skills
- SAGE and/or IFS knowledge preferable
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift at least 25lbs and to push-pull up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping
- Must be able to work in an environment, which is dusty and noisy
- Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures
