Job Title: Production Warehouse Associate

Location: Vernon, CA

Department: Manufacturing

Job Type: Full-time/nonexempt

HGV (Home Grown Ventures) is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Production team. You will play a critical role in supporting our warehouse operations. In this hands-on position, you'll be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping products, while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently. Your typical day-to day:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy and condition of products.
  • Store items in designated locations, maintaining organization and accessibility.
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring products are handled safely and securely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of shipping documents and labels.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support warehouse activities.
  • Must be able and willing to lift up to 50lbs consistently

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) safely.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.
