What are the Responsibilities?
Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately record all inventory movements, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Support Warehouse Clerk II and the Warehouse Supervisor in inventory management tasks, including updating inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and resolving discrepancies.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor and assist in corrective actions.
Product Staging (Kitting)
- Assemble product kits according to production orders, ensuring all necessary components are included.
- Label and organize kits for easy identification and retrieval by production team members.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitting materials and report low stock to the Warehouse Supervisor & Warehouse Clerk II.
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Provide assistance to Warehouse Clerk II in organizing and maintaining warehouse storage areas.
Shipping and Receiving Support
- Receive, inspect, and restock returned products.
- Stage outbound pallets for LTL pickup.
- Maintain accuracy of produced inventory by auditing/counting finished goods before moving them to a picking location.
Documentation and Reporting
- Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide regular updates to the Warehouse Clerk II or Warehouse Supervisor on inventory status, kitting progress, and any issues encountered.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse and kitting processes.
Do You Fit the Bill?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Netsuite.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift certification is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to handle small components during the kitting process.
- Pick up and carry up to 50lbs
- Capacity to work in varying temperatures and conditions within the warehouse.
