About the role
Join our Manufacturing team in Greenville, where you'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations in the warehouse, adopting a hands-on approach to support and lead the team alongside the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Supporting team members in all areas creating an environment of employee engagement and productivity
- Ensuring that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations; Inspecting products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards
- Training and assisting with the supervision of the warehouse team on quality assessment and production practices
- Identifying areas for improvement and making changes to improve the quality of products or services
- Monitoring and evaluating production systems utilizing documented protocol
- Ensuring workplace safety regulations are met and employees comprehend safety regulations according to OSHA and company policies
- Preparing and reviewing processes and documentation, including checklists, audit plans, and reports
- Communicating expectations to the team regularly and holding them accountable as necessary
- Always looking for ways to reduce human error in all aspects of warehouse operations
- Working within all Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ERP or MRP
- Work closely with vendors for equipment maintenance, raw materials, and other supply chain needs
- Acting as a change agent for processes, programs, and initiatives
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal customers including partners in the UK; liaising with UK Operations to monitor and improve processes
- Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with performance management (including tracking attendance and timesheet approval) as well as providing employees performance feedback
- Participating or leading other projects and initiatives as directed
What are we looking for?
- Experience leading, developing and managing a team.
- Previous experience within logistics, warehousing or supply chain is beneficial.
