Leisure World of Maryland Corporation located in Silver Spring, Maryland, is a private, age-restricted community comprised of 29 community associations and 8,000 residents. We are seeking a full-time Receptionist (40 hours per week) to provide secretarial and administrative support in the daily operational function of one of our high-rise condominiums on its campus. Working cooperatively with the Property Manager and Administrative Assistant, this position requires the Receptionist to:
- Greet/assist with visitors, residents, and contractors entering the Management Office.
- Answer phone calls and take thorough messages and relaying prompt messages to staff.
- Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested.
- Walk multiple buildings to post and/or deliver documents.
- Program/reprogram key fobs, garage openers, Robocalls, and phone numbers.
- File, copy, scan, upload, and fax documents.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or general education degree with one or more years of related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, or comparable software).
- Ability to consistently provide a high level of accurate work delivered in a timely manner.
- Ability to identify and respond to customer needs in a courteous, patient, and compassionate manner.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing.
