Non-profit is looking for a Bilingual Receptionist.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Receptionist is responsible to answer phones and to greet persons entering the administration building, ensuring that they are able to find the persons, offices, or information they seek. The Receptionist will perform light desk work as assigned by the Property Supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Receptionist is responsible to answer phones and to greet persons entering the administration building, ensuring that they are able to find the persons, offices, or information they seek. The Receptionist will perform light desk work as assigned by the Property Supervisor.
Job Duties:
- Answer telephone calls, doing all that is necessary to connect to the person or office they are calling.
- Make sure all staff have visible Project Vida ID badges and have non-staff sign in and receive a visitor badge.
- If the person being called is not available, take accurate and complete messages and be sure the person called receives them as soon as possible.
- Greet visitors, offering assistance as needed. If they are seeking a particular staff person, contact that person with their name and interest before directing them to the appropriate office.
- Provide basic written information in response to questions regarding programs, directing inquiries to program staff as appropriate.
- Maintain an updated staffing contact list, including emails and telephone numbers, in coordination with the Business Manager.
- Complete light deskwork assignments accurately and within a reasonable time in coordination with the Property Supervisor.
- Communicate a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Effective bi-lingual (English/Spanish) communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to organize and maintain workload priorities with constant interruptions.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management priorities
- Competency in Microsoft Office functions (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Telephone call handling skills, including call forwarding and taking clear and complete messages.
