Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team and be the face of Nine Lives Café. The Receptionist will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests by managing reservations, memberships, and our customer relationship management (CRM) system. You will also be instrumental in supporting our mission through social media engagement, customer interactions, and promoting our Cat Heaven and Cat Heaven Pilates experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services & Reservations

• Greet all customers with warmth and professionalism, ensuring an inviting and welcoming experience for every visitor.
• Manage and process reservations for Cat Heaven and Cat Heaven Pilates classes, ensuring seamless scheduling and maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, memberships, and general information.
• Provide thorough knowledge of our café offerings, Pilates classes, cat adoption process, and wellness programs.

Membership Management & CRM

• Maintain and update our CRM system with customer information, ensuring data accuracy and proper organization.
• Manage membership sign-ups, renewals, and benefits, providing prompt support to members.
• Track membership data to provide insights on trends and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and retention.
• Resolve customer issues related to memberships, billing, and other concerns efficiently and professionally.

Social Media & Marketing Support

• Be comfortable on camera and actively participate in content creation for Nine Lives Café's social media accounts.
• Share your work experience and life at Nine Lives Café on your personal social media accounts in a positive, enthusiastic way, helping to promote the café’s mission and culture.
• Collaborate with the marketing team during content creation to ensure brand alignment and engage with our community in a genuine, relatable manner.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media strategies and campaigns that align with Nine Lives Café’s mission and goals.

Customer Experience & Wellness Advocacy

• Educate guests on the health benefits of our specially roasted coffee and how feline therapy can improve overall wellness.
• Facilitate smooth guest transitions between the café, Cat Heaven, and Pilates classes, ensuring they feel informed and taken care of.
• Foster a positive atmosphere by promoting cat adoption opportunities and encouraging visitors to support our mission.

General Administrative Duties

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring it aligns with the luxury, boutique experience of Nine Lives Café.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payment transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Track and order office supplies, marketing materials, and membership-related items as needed.
• Assist with event coordination, including workshops, adoption days, and special member-only experiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Customer Service: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a high-end or luxury environment.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software, social media platforms, and scheduling tools.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. You should be comfortable interacting with guests in person, over the phone, and online.
• Social Media Savvy: A solid understanding of how to leverage social media as a marketing tool, with experience in posting, engagement, and content creation.
• Multitasking & Organization: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
• Problem-Solving: Comfortable troubleshooting customer issues and coming up with creative solutions.
• Passion for Cats & Wellness: A genuine love for animals, particularly cats, and an interest in health, wellness, and luxury services.
