What Are The Major Job Responsibilities?
The Receptionist will support the Office Manager by greeting students and families as they enter the building and answering the phone. (S)he will take messages as needed and contribute to a positive staff and student culture. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Builds a welcoming campus environment by greeting parents and visitors in person and over the phone.
- Keeps the office organized and appealing.
- Make copies as requested by the Office Manager.
- Receives and distributes mail appropriately.
- Maintains staff lounge supplies; keeps supply closet inventoried and stocked.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with all students, families, community members, and staff.
- Other clerical duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years secretarial experience, preferably in an educational setting
- Effective organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
- Flexibility and desire to work as part of a team.
- Will successfully pass a criminal background check
