Essential Functions

• Welds and fabricates various components used in heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Cuts metal into appropriate shapes.
• Smooths molten metal to remove creases.
• Operates specialized machinery for industrial welding.
• Oversees machines that perform similar tasks.
• Maintains and repairs all machinery.
• Assesses welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
• Selection and setup of appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements
• Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Vision requirements for this job include the ability to see clearly at a distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
