This position is responsible for producing plastic sheet products through various extrusion machines to meet customer specifications. Tasks include startup/shutdown, troubleshooting, quality control inspection, proper packaging, material handling, and training processes. Operators will monitor machines, take measurements every two hours, and use a forklift to move pallets every 45 minutes. The role involves consistent walking to ensure everything looks, sounds, and smells right.
Responsibilities- Produce plastic sheet products through extrusion machines according to customer specifications.
- Perform startup and shutdown procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
- Conduct quality control inspections.
- Handle proper packaging and material handling.
- Train and supervise processes.
- Monitor machines and take measurements every two hours.
- Use a forklift to pull pallets off the end of the line every 45 minutes.
- 1-2 years of machine operating experience in plastic manufacturing.
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to learn forklift operation if not already experienced.
- Extrusion experience is preferred.
- Experience in machine operation, troubleshooting, and extrusion processes.

This is a Permanent position based out of DEFOREST, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $56160.00
