Requisition Number: 18423 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/Exempt Hours Per Week: 40.00 Security Clearance: Secret Level of Experience: Senior Job Description Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies (HII-MT) is seeking a qualified candidate for Senior Hardware Engineer with extensive experience using LabVIEW, FPGA, and Real-Time modules to create robust data acquisition, timing, and control software interfaces. Essential Job Responsibilities • Create test operational documents to support current and modified programs. • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis. • Testing and quality assurance. Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation. • Support, maintain and document functionality. Integrate software with existing systems. • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical test equipment and components. • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. • Test experience with signal generators and spectrum analyzers. Minimum Qualifications 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field Bachelor of Science in applicable engineering or science field preferred with 9+ years experience, however candidates with 13+ years experience relevant equivalent experience will be considered HDL (Verilog/ VHDL) simulation/ programming/ debug Experience with Xilinx FPGA/MPSoC/RFSoC projects and Xilinx toolsets (ISE and / or Vivado) Experience with High-Level Synthesis Tools such as MATLAB HDL Coder Experience with model-based design (specifically Simulink) Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques, theory and high-throughput implementation Minimum Secret clearance is required to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with enhanced security checks.
