Position: Hardware Tech/Imager
Location: Fully onsite in JBAB until spring 2025, then JBA
Hours: Swing shift - 2PM-10PM
Compensation: $26.81/hr. + $4.93/hr SCA = $31.74/hr
Job type: Long term contract until 2029
Clearance:Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret clearance as a condition of employment
Certification: Security+ required
Job Summary :
The Imaging Technician is responsible for the execution and validation of desktop system images including post-implementation verification/testing, documentation and Tier 1 support of BIOS, OS, and related software to meet DoD and other requirements. Other duties incumbent upon the Imaging Technician include:

Job Summary :
The Imaging Technician is responsible for the execution and validation of desktop system images including post-implementation verification/testing, documentation and Tier 1 support of BIOS, OS, and related software to meet DoD and other requirements. Other duties incumbent upon the Imaging Technician include:
- Deploy a secure standard image for relevant environments / domains.
- Provide feedback regarding user and product requirements for systems solutions regarding technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Assist with audit and evaluation of the imaging process to determine costs and risks, supportability and scalability for desktop systems.
- Continuously evaluate the imaging process for opportunities to automate and reallocate effort toward innovation.
- Provide Level-1 support for IT for Windows OS Imaging; Deploy images for workstations and laptops
- Troubleshoot software/application related to imaging and desktop management
- Support Security patches and software upgrade surge support
- Perform backup and restore functions as it relates to imaging and desktop management
- Provide tracking assets issued for imaging
- Basic LAN troubleshooting skills/tools - TCP/IP, Trace-route, NBSTAT, PING, or other duties as assigned
- Follow standard IT processes and procedures.
