This hybrid position, based in downtown Atlanta, requires an on-site presence three days per week. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in hardware architecture, system integration, and DevOps methodologies to design and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable infrastructure solutions. Core Responsibilities: Hardware Architecture and Integration: Develop and implement scalable hardware solutions, ensuring seamless integration with software systems to meet operational and business requirements. DevOps Collaboration: Leverage DevOps practices to streamline hardware infrastructure processes, focusing on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC). Performance Optimization: Analyze and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of hardware systems to support critical operations. System Integration: Work closely with software and DevOps teams to ensure that hardware solutions align with broader infrastructure and application goals. Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject-matter expert, providing guidance on best practices for hardware design, DevOps tools, and collaborative workflows. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, DevOps workflows, and implementation plans. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and infrastructure issues with a proactive and innovative approach. Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years in hardware architecture, systems engineering, or a similar role, with significant exposure to DevOps tools and practices. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in hardware design, system integration, and performance tuning. Experience with DevOps automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is highly desirable. DevOps Skills: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and infrastructure as code (IaC) to enhance operational efficiency. Communication Skills: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
