We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join the team. Our team collaborates across different organizations in Azure to build in-house custom hardware. As Microsoft's cloud business continues to grow the ability to deploy new offerings and hardware infrastructure on time, in high volume with high quality and lowest cost is of paramount importance. To achieve this goal, team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. ResponsibilitiesLead VR design of awesome AI hardware. Work with internal and external partners to define and specify HW power requirements. Perform & review Schematic Entry in Cadence tools. Be able to review and guide PCB Layout for high-speed, and high and low power designs. Support BOM Creation & Manufacturing requirements. Create bring-up, test and validation plans to ensure robust hardware. Execute bring-up tests and debug hardware reports. Collaborate with partners to ensure systems meet significant quality, reliability, and service level requirements for a cloud environment. Collaborate with partner ODM/OEM companies.
