We are the PMO team within the Common Hardware Group (CHG) responsible for delivering the silicon, optics, and hardware platforms for Cisco’s Switching, Data Center, IOT, Compute products. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring that Cisco’s enterprise system projects are managed effectively, aligning with organizational goals and delivering value to the business.
What You’ll Do
You will manage high-visibility design engineering projects, coordinating with stakeholders to drive new product development and manage changes to existing programs. Collaborating with various teams, you'll oversee schedules, risks, dependencies, and budgets, while resolving conflicts and ensuring timely product delivery.
Who You’ll Work With
As an Engineering Project Manager, you will effectively coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams—including software and hardware engineering, marketing, manufacturing, customer support, testing, reliability, documentation, supply chain, operations, and finance—ensuring that all aspects of the project align with strategic goals, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time and within budget.

Your engineering expertise helps you grasp product requirements, technical risks, and validation strategies to expedite development. You effectively communicate project status, address schedule risks, and devise recovery plans for any delays. With high energy, flexibility, and a proactive attitude, you excel in partnering with Senior Leaders, embracing new challenges, and thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or other related field.
- 5+ years of related experience in Engineering program management.
- Experience working with multiple complex Hardware/Networking projects in a large-scale environment.
- Proficient in collaboration and scheduling tools.
Preferred Requirements
- Master’s degree in CS, EE, or other related field with 3+ years of related experience.
- PMP Certified.
- Excellent communication/analytical skills.
