Position Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Recruiter to partner with business leaders across all areas of the recruiting lifecycle. The Recruiter will be a true talent consultant who goes beyond transactional tasks to ensure we hire excellent talent and provide exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a trusted relationship with hiring managers through constant collaboration to meet their exempt and non-exempt recruiting needs
  • Source for potential candidates, screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to fill open positions
  • Work with recruitment agencies and other third-party organizations as needed
  • Coordinate all elements of candidate interview logistics including sending meeting invites, booking rooms, organizing Video Conferencing, Skype and dial in details all while ensuring a best in class candidate experience
  • Support Recruiting efforts by creating offer letters and providing excellent customer service in answering questions via e-mail and telephone from new hires, hiring managers and others
  • Process pre-employment background checks for new employees, new employee onboarding documents, data entry into applicant tracking, human resources, background check vendor and other systems following up on discrepancies regarding pre-employment screening
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation for new hires providing a warm welcome into the organization
  • Collect and verify all information needed for I-9 documentation
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy employee personnel files
  • Evaluate, research and/or recommend systemic and/or process improvements for the Recruiting function
  • Attend job fairs, university events and speaking engagements as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrated consultative ability to influence hiring managers, executive recruitment professionals and colleagues
  • Demonstrated high sense of urgency and customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently and with little supervision
  • Ability to multitask
  • High level of confidentiality, tact, diplomacy
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal, multi-state and local employment and labor laws regarding employment practices
  • Expert proficiency level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level of tolerance for ambiguity and change
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
