We are seeking an experienced Construction Recruiter with expertise in the roofing industry to join our team and play a critical role in driving our talent acquisition efforts.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven, full cycle recruiter to source, attract, and hire top talent for both technical and non-technical positions within the roofing industry. You will also oversee the company referral program, engage with the community, build relationships with passive candidates, and represent the company at career fairs to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified talent.

Key Responsibilities
* Talent Acquisition Strategy
* Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates for hard-to-fill roles within the roofing industry.
* Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and build ideal candidate profiles.
* Sourcing & Screening
* Utilize recruiting platforms, including Indeed, LinkedIn, and other industry-specific boards, to identify top candidates.
* Perform data mining and actively search for passive candidates using Both lean search techniques and other innovative sourcing methods.
* Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers.
* Referral Program Management
* Oversee and promote the company's employee referral program to encourage internal participation and drive candidate recommendations.
* Monitor the program's effectiveness and suggest improvements as needed.
* Community Engagement & Outreach
* Build relationships within the community to enhance the company's brand and attract potential candidates.
* Develop partnerships with trade schools, local organizations, and industry groups.
* Career Fairs & Networking Events
* Represent the company at career fairs, trade shows, and industry networking events.
* Actively engage with attendees to identify and attract potential candidates.
* Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
* Manage the ATS system to ensure accurate data entry, candidate tracking, and reporting.
* Generate detailed recruiting and hiring reports, analyzing data to measure success against hiring goals.
* Relationship Building
* Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
* Network within the roofing industry to establish pipelines for future hiring needs.
* Performance & Goal Achievement
* Achieve recruiting and hiring goals by meeting deadlines, identifying metrics, and staying proactive in finding qualified candidates.
* Continuously improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in the roofing or construction industry.
* Technical Expertise:
* Proficient in using ATS platforms for tracking and reporting (UKG Platforms, Team Engines, are a plus).
* Expert in leveraging Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
* Skilled in data mining, Boolean searches, and other advanced sourcing techniques.
* Community Engagement: Proven experience in networking with community organizations, attending career fairs, and building relationships with trade schools.
* Soft Skills:
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage and build relationships.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Knowledge: Understanding of construction and roofing-specific roles and industry trends.
