Duties & Responsibilities
- Actively source and manages driver leads via inbound and outbound calls, social media, internet databases and associate referrals.
- Communicates fleet options, income potential, and benefits of working for Hirschbach.
- Achieve company hiring goals in a timely manner to maintain seated truck count.
- Runs reports and verifications to ensure drivers meet Hirschbach standards and qualifications.
- Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls while maintaining engaging conversations.
- Professionally represent the organization at trade shows, job fairs, open houses, conferences, and meetings.
- Ensure all new drivers’ applications and reports are fully complete and accurate per company and DOT requirements.
- Assess the recruiting reports and demographics to identify recruiting trends and sources
- Create a candidate pipeline that meets hiring incentives and supports community demographic
- Retains and engages driver leads to keep interest level for future roles.
- Schedules and confirms orientation start dates and assists with travel arrangements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Talent Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent in education, paired with professional work experience.
- Previous sales or high-volume recruiting experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends
- Ability to travel as needed to other Hirschbach sites and/or events.
- Ability to multitask and manage time and resources effectively
- Understanding of meeting time-sensitive deadlines
- Using discretion regarding sensitive information
