Responsibilities
We are hiring an experienced Lateral Recruiter who has a strong foundation in the human resources field.
Primary responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
- Partner with hiring managers and management to determine strategic hiring plan;
- Source and identify talent through creative means and utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn for open and future roles across all business functions in the U.S.;
- Network internally to leverage existing employees' contacts from their prior firms;
- Lead business briefings throughout lifecycle of the hiring process;
- Review job descriptions for use on the intranet and external sites as appropriate;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates;
- Partner with the compensation team to develop strategic offer packages;
- Manage candidate onboarding process, including hiring, relocation and sign-on components;
- Maintain recruiting materials, such as new hire offer packets and onboarding documents;
- Remain apprised of current and changing recruiting methods through research and development of external network;
- Participate in development and maintenance of recruitment budget;
- Assist with the execution of immigration and visa processes for incoming and current hires;
- Report on lateral hiring recruiting data;
- Maintain applicant tracking system processes, prepare briefings, collect interview feedback and ensure accurate data on candidates.
- Remain apprised of current and changing recruiting methods through research and development of external network.
PJT Partners seeks to hire a dynamic individual who is highly motivated, intelligent and a proven self-starter. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively and a positive attitude. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent.
- 5+ years of Recruiting experience.
- Recruiting for Corporate Technology roles a plus
- Recruiting for buyside investment managers, specifically long-only or long oriented hedge funds a plus.
- Strong MS Office skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and process a high volume of work under pressure while maintaining the highest quality.
- Ability to speak confidently and credibly in front of internal and external clients at all levels.
- Superb organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; high quality document preparation.
- Ability to work independently as well as a desire to work in a team environment.
- Demonstration of a high level of integrity, discretion and professionalism.
- Willingness to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Experience with Workday or a similar Applicant Tracking System a plus.
Expected annualized base salary of $90,000 to $150,000.
This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate's relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners' compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners' compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
