Job Description
Position Summary
The Recruiter will be responsible for implementing effective strategies to attract diverse and qualified individuals to satisfy the company wide staffing needs.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
The Recruiter has responsibility for these areas:
- Work closely with managers in various departments to uncover the staffing needs
- Oversee and review job posting to be sure the company upholds desired image
- Organize hiring events and job fairs
- Screen and select qualified candidates to be interviewed
- Arrange and schedule interviews with hiring manager and candidates
- May participate in phone, virtual or in person interviews with or without the hiring manager
- Coordinate all communication with candidates from the moment they are sourced until job offer is presented and accepted
- Work with hiring manager to suggest salary range , incentives, and start dates
- Work with HR department to ensure timely onboarding of candidate
- Continuously maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates
- Connect with local high schools (near our facilities) to promote a career at EMS
- Develop a presentation and career path for high school grads
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education
Preferred: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
Experience/Skills/Abilities Required
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with job board posting sites such as Indeed and Zip Recruiter
- Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Computer and internet research skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Extremely resourceful and ability to show initiative; use internal resources to achieve desired results.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
- Good professional appearance.
- Confidentiality.
- 5 Years of Recruiting experience
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Typical office environment - moderate noise level. This position regularly requires standing; walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
