Stellar Energy specializes in a wide range of engineering and manufacturing solutions within the energy sector including turbine inlet air chilling, central utility plants, district cooling, combined heat & power systems, thermal energy storage, inlet air heating, data center chilling, and inlet air chilling for LNG facilities. Summary
The Junior Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent to the organization. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization.
Essential Functions
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Checks employment applications and examines work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants.
- Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information.
- Keeps records of applicants not selected for employment.
- May perform reference and background checks on applicants.
- Coordinates skills, intelligence, or psychological testing of applicants.
- Evaluates selection and placement techniques by conducting research or follow-up activities and conferring with management and supervisory personnel.
- Searches for and recruits’ applicants for open positions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require occasional weekend work.
Required Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three years of recruiting experience focused on manufacturing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
