Senior Technical Recruiter

Ambience Healthcare is seeking a highly proactive & strategic Senior Technical Recruiter to lead our technical hiring efforts and help build our growing team. This role will work closely with Engineering Leaders to streamline & expand the Engineering Recruitment function, develop world-class hiring processes, and strategically fill critical technical roles across a variety of technical functions. As a foundational member of the recruiting team, you will play a key role in shaping our recruiting programs and unlock key company growth.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Develop and implement standardized recruiting processes, including comprehensive documentation and a structured interview protocol, to ensure consistency and quality in talent acquisition.
  • Strategically manage and fill key technical positions, attracting top talent aligned with our company’s mission and long-term goals.
  • Create and launch strategic recruitment initiatives, including tooling, talent branding programs, engineering dinners, and diversity initiatives to strengthen our workforce.
  • Drive closing strategies and negotiate offers, aligning candidate motivations with the company’s employee value proposition.
  • Act as a culture champion, embodying and advocating for the company’s core values, mission, and culture throughout the hiring process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth, engaging experience for all stakeholders.

What we look for:

  • 7+ years of experience leading technical recruiting efforts, including experience in a fast-paced startup environment with growing brand recognition.
  • Experience working in a high growth startup, including a demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity, make informed decisions, and adapt to changes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience recruiting for a wide range of technical roles, including machine learning practitioners, software engineers across the stack, and AI clinicians.
  • Proven success in building and scaling recruiting programs & processes, working in lock-step with hiring teams to implement initiatives that enhance the candidate experience and position the company uniquely in a competitive talent market.
  • Experience working with recruiting tools such as ATS systems and databases (experience with Ashby is a plus).

Pay Transparency

The base compensation for this role is approximately $140,000 – 170,000 per year, excluding equity. We’ve intentionally allocated a wider range so that candidates have more flexibility to choose the desired cash/equity split that works for them. Philosophically, we lean towards generous equity grants so that our team truly gets to share in the impact they create.
