LHH partnered with a local company to recruit for a Recruiting Coordinator in Oakland, CA.

Recruiting Coordinator
Location: Oakland, CA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract or Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $25 - $30 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews (phone, virtual, and onsite) between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Serve as the point of contact for candidates, providing clear communication and timely updates throughout the hiring process.

  • Manage and maintain recruitment calendars, ensuring no conflicts.

  • Assist in posting job openings across multiple platforms and tracking applications.

  • Support candidate onboarding by coordinating background checks, preparing offer letters, and organizing new hire documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate recruitment reports as needed.

  • Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including managing correspondence, updating candidate pipelines, and organizing recruiting events.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator, HR Assistant, or similar role.

  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong focus on candidate experience.
