Description

JOB SUMMARY: The HR Recruiter will be developing and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develops and facilitates all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies (job boards, social media, publications, colleges, employee referrals, newsletters, mass mailings, etc).
  • Collaborates with managers to identify detailed and accurate job descriptions and the hiring criteria, and standardize and refine job descriptions as needed.
  • Manages recruitment advertisement and billing process.
  • Develops and manages the agency website careers' section.
  • Monitors and applies HR recruiting best practices.
  • Uses HR applicant tracking system and other resume databases for candidate sourcing.
  • Screens resumes and selects qualified candidates.
  • Assists hiring managers with the interview and the selection process.
  • Develops and maintains partnerships with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms and other sources of applicants
  • Participates in job fairs and other community events, and coordinates recruitment open houses.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and the Director of Human Resources during the offer process to determine the compensation and other incentives.
  • Acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection and onboarding process.
  • Participates in HR compliance reviews.
  • Maintains data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews and hires, retention, and other related metrics via automated applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

OTHER DUTIES: Assists with departmental projects as needed (Benefits / Health Fair, Employee Recognition events, HR audits, administrative projects, etc.). Participates in and supports CAS or agency wide events and committees as requested.

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Hands on experience with various selection processes (interviewing, phone screening, reference checks, etc). Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Service-oriented, proactive, and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent follow-up, organizational, and decision-making skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, HRIS, and applicant tracking systems. Strong time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills with good negotiation tactics. Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with atleast 3 years' Human Resources and full-cycle recruitment experience. HRIS experience. Prior experience in healthcare or human services setting a plus.
