Human Resources Recruiter
Utilize social media, internet sourcing, and diverse innovation technology resources to manage recruitment efforts.
Interviewing applicants and vetting them for the position
Doing background checks and pre-employment requirements and calling references
Explaining the benefits, company policies and parameters of the job to applicants
Processing hiring paperwork and maintaining employee records
Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans
Create and publish job ads in various portals
Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
Screen resumes and job applications
Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles
Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
Host and participate in job fairs, client & marketing events
Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings. Collaborate with the Managers/Supervisors to ensure a highly positive, consistent candidate experience from engagement through hire.
Human Resources Recruiter Requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience in human resources or employment recruiting
Willing to travel
Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources and personnel administration
Knowledge of designing and leading a talent acquisition program
Knowledge of the career continuum - recruitment, evaluation, growth, retention, recognition
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
A degree in business human resources, communications or a similar field of study is a plus
