Robert Half is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a 3-month contract position. The role will involve managing HR-related activities and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a supportive workplace culture.
- HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, and talent development.
- Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex issues to the executive leadership team.
- Provide guidance on specialized HR matters such as accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
- Collaborate with department managers to recruit, interview, and permanent experience in candidates.
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated with HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
- Support HR programs aimed to improve productivity, morale, and employee recognition.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters. Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the HR field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Organized with high attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in processing payroll for 500+ employees.
