Robert Half is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a 3-month contract position. The role will involve managing HR-related activities and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a supportive workplace culture.

  • HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, and talent development.
  • Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex issues to the executive leadership team.
  • Provide guidance on specialized HR matters such as accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with department managers to recruit, interview, and permanent experience in candidates.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated with HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
  • Support HR programs aimed to improve productivity, morale, and employee recognition.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters. Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the HR field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Organized with high attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in processing payroll for 500+ employees.
