We are in the process of recruiting an HR Generalist for our team situated in Concord, California. The role involves managing a variety of HR functions, including the full-cycle recruitment process, tier one employee relations, and compliance.. The HR Generalist will be a critical team member, as they will be responsible for supporting business goals by aligning HR initiatives with the needs of our team.


Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key point of contact for employees, fostering a positive work environment and resolving any concerns.

• Onboarding.

• Provide guidance on HR policies, initiatives, and practices to managers as a trusted advisor.

• Facilitate and manage internal investigations, addressing concerns, and recommending appropriate actions.

• Support employee benefits processes, including open enrollment and life event changes.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain required postings.

• Assist employees with leave of absence requests and accommodations.

• Oversee the offboarding process of staff and process final payroll documents.

• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.

• Manage HR projects and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

• Proficiency in using Ceridian and Dayforce HR platforms
• Comprehensive understanding and management of benefit functions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and standards
• Proven experience in managing employee relations effectively
• Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) procedures and requirements
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Knowledge of Disability Insurance processes and policies
